MASA Co-organized TEDxUlaanbaatarSalon Event

MASA had the greatest pleasure to co-organize TEDxUlaanbaatarSalon event "Envisioning the Future" with TEDxTalks!

In her talk, Bulgantuya shares her vision on how to make the Mongolian dream come true. Bulgantuya Khurelbaatar is the Vice Minister of Ministry of Finance and President of MASA. After having completed her high school in Australia, she obtained B.A in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, PRC and M.A in International and Development Economics from Yale University, USA. 

In his talk, Tsogtbaatar compares the past and the present of humanity, and envisions what the future may hold for us. Tsogtbaatar Damdin is a member of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia. Since 2017, he has been serving as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

In his talk, Jay calls upon the next generation of Mongolians to take ownership of their democracy, to stay positive on all that has been accomplished, and to strive for an even better future.  James A Liotta “Jay” spent his first two years in Mongolia as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer, where he developed a great appreciation for the Mongolian people and their culture. Currently, he is the letterhead partner of the law firm MahoneyLiotta LLP. Both Jay and the firm are ranked Band 1 by Chambers Global and Chambers Asia Pacific. Jay served as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia (2016-2017), and currently sits on its Board of Directors.

In this talk, Nagi reminds us that regardless of the circumstances, one always has the power to choose and most importantly do it right! Nagi earned his Bachelor degree in Economics from Macalester College and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a former investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York and Sydney. Most recently, he was Deputy Director of the Capital Markets Unit of Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi company in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Nagi is a board member of MASA.
