“Let’s discuss together- Women Leadership” panel discussion

The second “Let’s discuss together - Women Leadership” - Distinguished panel discussion was successfully organized at the Diamond meeting hall of the Blue-Sky Hotel on March 15, 2016.  The panel discussion event was advertised through social media platforms of U.S. Embassy, MASA, The UB Post, Mongolia’s leading newspaper published in English, and also shared with Lean In Mongolia Community group, which has over 500 active members of young female professionals. Over 350 people were registered and around 300 people participated in the event.

U.S. Ambassador Jennifer Galt made an opening remark for the event. During the speech, she highlighted the works that the U.S. Embassy is doing to empower the young girls and women of Mongolia and mentioned about her recent discussion on women's leadership and inequality as a part of the monthly discussion series that she facilitates at her place with various groups of the society on important topics.

Ms.Bilguun, Board member of MASA, gave an overview of “Let’s discuss together” series to the audience and procedures for the following workshop.   

The panelists were chosen to represent various fields of profession as follows:

  • Ms. Bulgantuya Khurelbaatar, Vice Minister of Finance and President of MASA.
  • Ms. Nomin Chinbat, CEO of Mongol HD television and Chairman at Mongolian Media Council.  
  • Ms. Zolzaya Batkhuyag, Co-Founder of Young Women for Change NGO.
  • Mr. B.Bolorsaikhan, Vice Coordinator of “All for Education!” National Civil Society Coalition


  • Ms. Gandolgor Purevjav, Founder and CEO of Ganabell Training and Consulting Institute, VP of MASA


MASA will organize two-day workshop for selected 16 people. Under selected themes/areas, the speakers and panel discussion participants will identify the most pressing challenge in the chosen field and follow up the discussion with a two-day workshop. The first day of the workshop will be held at the American Corner in Ulaanbaatar, and the panel discussion speakers will provide extended seminars to the pre-selected participants. The second day of workshop will be held out of Ulaanbaatar City, and will provide project development and management, and team building trainings through a contract training institution.
